is a group of young donors who fund small-budget LGBTQI organizations. This giving circle is a great model for public GCs that are considering affiliating with a foundation and operating using a DAF. We like their clear mission and funding priorities. We also like their name!
The Good Trouble Giving Circle was started by 17 year old Lena Kerest, the first youth leader to participate in our giving circle leader training. We are super proud of Lena and the other young women who successfully used crowd sourcing strategies to raise $1,000, exceeding their goal of raising $250!
LIFT is an open Giving Circle for women in Burlington, Vermont. We like their two tiered membership option and also their structure for their nominating committee. We also like that they fund organizations close to our home in Vermont!
